Once upon a time, there were two friends a hare and a tortoise. They lived together. The hare used to laugh at slow speed of the tortoise. For many days the tortoise kept silence but he couldn't tolerate it for a long time so once the tortoise challenged him for a race.

The hare agreed for the race because he was sure of the victory because by nature he is a good runner. The hare became happy because he knew that the tortoise was not the good runner. The hare saw tortoise running slowly and decided to sleep for a rest on the race course.

He slept for a while, but the tortoise kept going on towards the winning. When the hare got up from his sleep, he saw the tortoise had already reached the winning post. The tortoise won the race. From this story we know that slow and steady wins the race.

Moral: Slow and Steady wins the race.

AN OLD LADY AND THE DOCTOR Full STORY

Many many years ago, there was an old lady in a village. She lived alone there. She became blind in her old age. She called an doctor. The doctor visited her daily for her treatment. He put his eyes on her furniture.

He delayed the cure. Every day he took away her furniture one by one. Finally he cured her eyes. After her treatment, he demanded his fee but the lady refused to pay saying cure wasn't complete.

The doctor brought a court case. The judge asked her why she hadn't paid him. Then she said that sight wasn't properly restored and added that she couldn't see all her furniture. The judge also gave verdict in her favor. The doctor lost the court case.

Moral Of the Story: Tit for Tat.
